There are moments when we feel lonely. It may be a season depression or just a bad day. Most of people experience such state of mind. Some people cope with the mood, while others let the depression exhaust them. There is a list of ideas that can help you make yourself feel up!
#1 Stay outside as long as possible
We may feel unwell when we do not have enough sunshine. It happens in seasons when light days are short or while working or being in a dark room for a long time every day. The salvation is to appreciate every moment of daylight. Try to be outside as long as possible. If you work at the office, walk before and after work when possible. Besides, let the daylight into your flat: clean the windows and change the drapes into the lighter ones.
#2 Healthy diet
Mind your diet. You need to consume enough vegetables and fruits. They will provide you with vitamins. Fish is proved to be a good means of fighting season depression due to its aliphatic acids. You should try eating walnut, cashew, bush pumpkin, asparagus, marrow-type pumpkin and celery. The reason is that the above-mentioned food is rich with selenium - an element which cheers people up and struggles depression.
#3 Sleep well
Sound sleep will do you good in any way, especially when you feel down. Try to get enough sleep every day. If you can not do it at night, take some rest during the day. For example, during the lunch-time.
#4 Massage
A session of good massage makes a person feel better. If you can't afford professional help, you can massage your hands and ears yourself - the health-promoting effect is assured.
#5 Surround yourself with positive people
Save your energy. Try to distant from people who cause negative emotions. We don't need quarrels - we need love.
#6 Laugh
Laughter decreases stress and increases immunity power. Read funny stories on the Internet or watch comedy movies.
