My first G/grandson was born almost 14 years ago - "when the past meets the future" I use the photo now on FB with my daughter and her son - the new father. Now I have 2 g/grandsons - couldn't believe I would be so lucky - Most of my forebears never met theirs.

When my first grandchild was born, I was there and I witnessed a miracle. I sobbed for 3 days from happy. I had seen pigs, horses, cats and dogs give birth but when it is your daughter producing this miracle of precious life, there are no words to describe the emotions you feel. I have 9 grandchildren and was there for 8 of their births. I got to cut the umbilical cord on my ninth. Dad said, "I've cut six of these, so you can do it." Like I said: birth of you grandchildren is truly a miracle from God.

I have 2 lovely grandkids named Isla, 8 and Finley, 6 who live in Cremorne Point, NSW, Australia. They are coming here with my daughter Tanya and her hubby Lincoln for a Jan 19-24, 2023 visit. Isla and Finley are so excited to see the snow here as there is no snow except for snow-capped mountains in Australia.
